    Calvo was a beast tonight! I thought Thiesson and Burch both had really good games defensively. Kallman was solid, but nothing really stood out to me beyond that. Cronin and Ibson struggled to get the ball into dangerous positions, but otherwise were solid. I was disappointed in how we failed to get Ramirez the ball. San Jose’s backs were playing loose in the middle and there were numerous times where Christian had position and an opportunity and we didn’t send the ball in. Molino had another off night. He had moments, but he needs to put in a full 90 of effort. We had opprtunities, but we did little with them. That won’t be enough against KC. We need to come out and seize the game next week or we’ll only get 3 of 9 for this home stand and be scraping the bottom of the division again…

    Molino is driving me bonkers. His first touch when he thinks he’s in the clear is almost always 5 feet out in front of him. Combined with what appears to be a lack of awareness about the defenders around him… he always gives it up in promising situations. Grrr…
