Tarah Hobbs wins achievement award

Congratulations to the University of Minnesota’s Tarah Hobbs, who received the Richard “Pinky” McNamara Student-Athlete Achievement Award. Hobbs had a standout 2016, and was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team after setting the program record for shutouts with 28. Further congratulations to Rashida Beal who was selected as one of the University’s “Top 5” in women’s athletics.

Greenspan’s Riverhounds featured

    Joe Greenspan has played just 4/7 of Pittsburgh’s games, and already he leads the team in some defensive categories? That’s very good to see.

    I believe he has one more game there? He was loaned on the 11th for a month. PGH play on the 3rd and on the 13th. Perhaps he’ll play both games.
