Sweet to get 3 from Portland! The team played with intensity tonight and that seemed to be the biggest difference. Danladi was having a pretty good game until his boneheaded retaliation. Time and maturity should help with that. K. Venegas did alright. He was solid in the attack and he had a few nice crosses. Jerry was great, he dominated his side and showed off some nice footwork. Christian had an awesome goal! All around, a decent night!

other than the goal, i thought Danladi was awful. So many missed passes and turnovers. One of his errant passes led to him making that rash challenge which led to the red card. I would love his passing chart, maybe i’m wrong.

I had the exact same impression. His goal was an anomaly in an otherwise flawed performance. He rarely held the ball up effectively, provided lots of errant passes and turnovers, and didn’t beat anyone off the dribble.

I also thought he struggled apart from the goal. He still has a lot to improve on.
