Apartments to be built near Allianz Field

Proposals are on the board, as reported by both the Pioneer Press and Star Tribune, to build 175 apartments in place of the Bremer Bank near Allianz Field. Wellington Management has proposed Bremer could be a tenant of the 18,000 square feet of commercial space below the apartments, where there would also be room for other retailers.

Katayoun Khosrowyar wins WSU Coach of the year

Women’s Soccer United ( awards a coach of the year annually. This year, the award went to Katayoun Khosrowyar. Katayoun, who goes by Kat, became the first Iranian woman to earn the FIFA “A” license in 2014. She manages the Iranian women’s national team, the U19 team, and advises the U14/16 side as well. Congratulations to Kat!
