So… Lowe in at right back? Could have really used Brian Kallman on a day like this…

:-/ good thing we signed a million mids/forwards and only one defender, who plays in the center….

If PC is healthy, he’ll be attacking that spot. Danny Cruz is going to have to work his socks off.

I like giving Lowe the shot. If he can prove to be an able bodied sub on the right side of the defense, He could be a great player to bring up to MLS.

Given that the team seems strongest when I’m most pessimistic, I believe we are doomed to be consumed by a killer Gator-nado

I’ll be curious to see how Pinho and Davis work on the left. The attack may have to shift, and with Attakora out, the Strikers look vulnerable.

Has it ever rained hard at a Minnesota United FC match in three plus seasons? I think the last time it seriously rained during a Loons game was when the team was inside at the Metrodome.

I’ve not been this curious about the starting XI in a very long time. Venegas out with no obvious/natural replacement (how did we let that happen?) and who knows what the move will be for Sammy?

I also am curious on if there will be jelly sandwiches available.

        Interesting line up.

        And nobody selling jelly.

This is arguably the greatest injustice

Starters: Ceus; Lowe, Calvano, Kallman, Davis; Brovsky, Ibson, Cruz, Banks, Pinho; Ramirez

I don’t exactly trust Steward Ceus, but let’s see what he’s got, I guess. Will be critical to watch Lowe on the right. We know Brovsky can play as a right back, but he’s better in central midfield. So CC going with Lowe is a vote of confidence for him, but the previous tinkering with Kallman at LB didn’t work out.

Lots to look out for here.

With only one defensive mid, watch for JD and Rowe sitting back more.

Anybody have their eyes on Paulo Jr when Lowe got the yellow? Seemed like a classic dive in the aftermath.

Looked like a dive on the broadcast, but some people in the stands thought otherwise, even that it could’ve been a red. Hard to tell for sure.

Well that was a fun first half. But man, it’s no contest out there. Frankly, the Strikers look like a team that’s… not being paid.
