Sammy back in goal. Brent with a big test at RB, hopefully Danny can cover for him. Ben Speas back in the line-up to start, really excited about that.

Gotta be honest and say that I’m not looking forward to this one. Really just hoping it’s not an embarrassment.

Also hoping we don’t have an issue with flags being in the way of our best plays. 🙂

Solid first half. We had basically all of the chances, but not the finishes. Unfortunately this is Edmonton’s comfort zone, they don’t concede all match and then score in the 80th. Hoping we can break that trend.

Like what I’ve seen from Jome so far. The kid continues to surprise. He’s good on the ball.

I guess letting them score earlier is one way to break that trend.

Sammy has been solid, but that back line…lacking some communication or something

He’s been fine but his distribution hasn’t.

True, 5 of 10 passing. Only one pass complete more than a dozen yards away or so

I really don’t understand the poor distribution. Is this a coaching thing? They have to players to create better chances from the back. Is it a pressure thing, and not wanting to give up back pass breakaways? Is there a middle area we can distribute to in between the max distance punts to nowhere and rolling it to your CB’s?

This whole year his distribution has been off, last year that was one of his best attributes. The long distribution to Christian or a midfielder, right to their feet or hitting them in stride. This year he seems hesitant to do the quick release up field.

Other team’s chances: everything goes right, ball goes in.

Our team’s chances: someone down the line makes an uncharacteristic mistake and the opportunity is lost.

        Uncharacteristic is becoming characteristic.

Well, but it’s not the same person each time. It’s someone different, there’s not just one goat. It’s at that point where it feels like we need to be perfect to score, but that the other team will get at least one or two dumb opportunities.

Not saying that’s how it is, but that’s how it feels.
