    Community Match Ratings: Minnesota at New York

      Wow the voting on Lance was split. Only 2’s and 7’s with a 9 thrown in. Just, Wow.

        I’d lean more towards the seven, myself. He could have done a bit better with his one-on-one with Maurer, but to me looked Minnesota’s most dangerous attacking threat while he was on the field. Was disappointed when he was subbed off while Minnesota was chasing a goal.

      I continue to wonder about the validity of these ratings. How can anyone determine, when he was the most dangerous player in the Loon’s attack, that Laing was awful? No, he didn’t score, but not for lack of trying. And Ramirez? Maurer blocked rockets from him in the second half. Neither of them deserve tens, but 2s and 3s are ridiculous. I don’t think that there was anyone on the field that deserved less than a 4 – everyone generally did their job and did it adequately, even if there are no goals on the score sheet. There was ONE defensive breakdown, and MNU paid for it. How that translates to 2s and 3s across the board is beyond me. Why bother with this?
