Minneapolis City cancel and add friendlies
Minneapolis City SC and the Milwaukee Bavarians have cancelled their previously-announced April 22 friendly in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., as City’s parent organization Stegman’s has had its top Minnesota Amateur Soccer League side drawn against the Bavarians in the United States Amateur Soccer Association National Cup. The Region II matchup will take place April 23 at 7:00 p.m. in Milwaukee.
The Crows will be playing a friendly against the University of Minnesota men’s club team on May 5 at Augsburg College’s Edor Nelson Field at 7:00 p.m. With the latter’s funding recently cut, 30 percent of ticket sales will go to support the U of M men’s club team.
