Five months after collapsing to the ground with an ACL and cartilage injuries in his knee, former Loon Jeb Brovsky says that he’s close to returning to full fitness.
On Tuesday, Brovsky sat down with Wes Burdine and Jeff Rueter for a broad-ranging interview in which the midfielder (and defender) discussed what he calls the hardest point of his career. Brovsky says he’s been working hard, though, and is just “a few weeks” from being able to join up with a club.
Brovsky says he is in contact with several unnamed clubs, but isn’t sure where he’ll end up.
On the rest of the podcast, Brovsky offers his thoughts on Christian Pulisic and Minnesota United’s current travails. Having previously played for three expansion clubs, Brovsky put the Loons’ on-the-field troubles in perspective.
