Harsh loss…Probably the most invested I’ve been in an away match this year, so I’m angry – so take some of this with a grain of salt. Danladi should have been yanked by 60 min. He contributed nothing and destroyed our best chances of the evening. Molino was poor. You have to be able to handle the ball under pressure. You have to move forward when you have the chance. Bunker?!?!? BUNKER?!?!?!? HAVE YOU SEEN HOW POORLY WE BUNKER?!?!?!? Pull Danladi, throw Allen up top, put in some fresh winger legs and use them to push the Sounders back while the rest of the Loons hold down the fort. Why are you passing backwards when you are on a breakaway? Hell, take it to the corner, fight down the sidelines and try for a throw in or corner. That’s how you kill time without allowing Torres to dribble around in our box…

Kudos to Finlay, he looks worth the money. Nicholson keeps improving and looks like a solid pickup, but still gasses a bit. Boxall is streaky and still seems a bit unsettled at times. Kallman was a HUGE stabilizing factor on the back line. I like Calvo playing out wide. Ibson started slow, but had some great plays on both sides of the ball. Theisson had his hands full, but held up all right. Cronin was good, he just had too much ground to cover. Hard to tag all those Seattle attackers consistently.

Got my hopes up for a draw, but after the Molino sub, it felt inevitable that we were going to concede. Use your subs to make a difference early in the game, not just to kill 20 seconds…

I’m curious about the ‘Historically Awful’ for Collen Warner.

I’ve said this before. Danladi has shown flashes of quality but only very rarely. He is quick but does not have touch. He needs more deft touch and much more need to finish consistently. Not quite MLS material yet.
