      NEE – “next eight eliminated” was started on Northern Pitch. This looks like a good place to post to continue.
      – #95 Republic of Congo out;
      – #82 Israel out;
      – #81 Libya out;
      – #80 South Africa out;
      – #76 Mali out;
      – #70 Cyprus out;
      – #66 Albania out;
      – #62 Algeria out;
      The biggest upsets from these eight was South Africa’s 3-1 win over #49 Burkina Faso, and Cyprus’ 3-2 win over #36 Bosnia-Herzegovina. Scanning youtube for the matches will reveal very creative music overdubs on the highlights, and enthusiastic announcers. The NP site had a great thread where we could share and discuss WC Qualifiers.
      Also, Poland (#6) & Spain (#11) & Costa Rica (#21) & Egypt (#30) & Nigeria (#44) qualify.

      Those are some solid attendance numbers to end the season. If we actually have a decent start to the year next season, we should see a solid buzz throughout that will reverberate deeper into the interest of the general public.
