MN Migration: Kolander Scores Another Three

In this week’s recap of Minnesotans playing professionally outside of the state: Simone Kolander continues her run of form and Mukwelle Akale makes his return for Villarreal C.

Fresh off a very one-sided win in the Czech Cup, AC Sparta Praha defeated FC Viktoria Plzeň 8-0. Simone Kolander earned another start and finished with three goals and two assists. Five minutes into the second half the forward scored her first of the night, burying a loose ball in the box.

In the 71st minute Kolander got an easy tap in for her second goal. After helping to win possession, she made a run between the defense into the box onto a low cross.

Just four minutes later Kolander scored a similar goal. After a teammate cut the ball back, she side-footed a shot between the keeper and the near post.

Mukwelle Akale made his first appearance for Villarreal CF C since October 11th. He came on in the 79th minute to see out a 2-1 win over UD Alzira.
