News in Brief: Loons Concerned, Allianz Field, and More

Heath concerned about process, not losses

The lack of chances created and leakiness at the back has head coach Adrian Heath concerned about the start of the season. He is unconcerned with the losses, but rather with their manner. Also included are the minutes breakdown of the Loons’ roster. Ethan Finlay lead the roster at 256 minutes, while Brent Kallman, and several others, played only 45 minutes. Heath also mentioned “one or two more pieces” to be added in the coming days.

    Allianz Field one year away

With one year to go on construction, Mortenson is roughly 40% complete with the project. Installation of the outer shell of the stadium is set to begin in May, structural work will be completed in June, and the grass will be installed in October.

    News bits

Joao Moutinho (no not that one) scores his first goal for Los Angeles FC.

Matt Lampson explains why he chose number 28 for his shirt.
