Minnesota United’s match on Sunday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m. against Atlanta United has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 31 at 7:00 p.m. This moves the match previously scheduled on Easter Sunday to the night before.
Daktronics has partnered with MNUFC to provide LED displays at Allianz Field. Daktronics is expected to provide multiple ribbon displays throughout the stadium along with one 23-feet by 115-feet LED as its main display.
MNUFC defender and Coasta Rica international Francisco Calvo is expected to miss Minnesota United’s match against New York Red Bulls on March 24. Costa Rica will play a World Cup tuneup friendly against Scotland on March 23.
USWNT wins 2018 SheBelieves Cup
The U.S. Women’s National Team finished play in the 2018 SheBelieves Cup this week, defeating England 1-0. The USWNT secured their second SheBelieves Cup title in three years with the victory over England in Orlando on Wednesday night.
Elsewhere in the Women’s National Team program, the U.S. Under-23 roster was recently announced ahead of the Thorns Spring Invitational where USA will face off against three NWSL teams. Minnesota Gopher Soccer forward, and Eden Prairie native April Bockin, has been named into the squad.
