Joshua Gatt was listed as a sub for the Loons’ preseason match against Portland. However, the winger was not on the bench as he has not officially joined the team. When Gatt was listed as a midfielder along with Tanner Thompson and Raul Gonzalez before the match, expectations were raised, but the Gatt’s inclusion proved to be a mistake. The former Molde FK player is still expected to join Minnesota in the near future.

With all the rumblings of Montero joining the Whitecaps, is there any speculation (if any) on what compensation we would receive for the allocation spot?
