    Mayhem defenders invited to NPSL showcase

    Two players from Med City FC have been selected to play in the annual NPSL showcase. Defenders Jared Wolt and Tiernan Talbot will head down to Kissimmee, Florida, from January 13-15. The showcase will be attended by scouts and agents from the professional teams across the U.S.

    USMNT coaching shakeup

    The temporary USMNT coaching staff is going through some changes. Pat Noonan will be leaving to join the Philadelphia Union as an assistant coach. Kenny Arena will head west to join LAFC’s technical staff. Interim head coach Dave Sarachan was in talks with Saint Louis University over their head coaching vacancy, however, SLU will look to the NCAA ranks for their new head coach.

    New signing on the horizon?

    Minnesota CEO Chris Wright spoke at tonight’s supporters summit at Blackstack Brewing. In his speech, he said that the Loons will announce their next signing today and another in a couple of weeks.

      Let me guess, Costa Rica. In all seriousness, I’m liking that they are looking at young players and not just 34 year olds… My #panic is subsiding ever so slightly.

      He had to speak with the Wolves game on behind him? Not ideal. Great to hear that some signings are imminent. Moderately hopeful that they will be players who make a difference.
