Gopher Women’s Soccer Team set to start season
The Gophers were predicted to finish sixth in the Big Ten this season, and the squad has to replace most of its goalscoring from last season. Led by five seniors, the Gophers will look to make history by finishing in the top three of the Big Ten for the third consecutive year.
Loons stumble while doubts over Ramirez sale continue
The Loons did themselves no favors on the PR front with a deserved 2-0 loss on Saturday night. Recent DP signing Angelo Rodriguez struggled to connect his passes, and United’s attack looked generally toothless. Meanwhile, Jon Marthaler voiced questions (echoed by many fans) over Christian Ramirez’s sale for ESPN 1500.
