Minnesota United Closes TCF with a Whimper, then Several Bangs
Minnesota United FC has hardly had what most would consider a stellar season. One standout has been DP signing Darwin Quintero.
Alas, Not even the star signing could save Minnesota’s final home stand. After an embarrassing loss last week, United closed out its season at home with a capitulation to the LA Galaxy. The 3-1 loss was not as humbling a close to the club’s time at TCF as its 6-1 opening loss to Atlanta last season.
Fans of the club do have two good things to look forward to. Firstly, Allianz Field is set to open next season. Secondly, defender Brent Kallman will be staying with the club as it opens its new home.
