On Wednesday afternoon, Minneapolis City SC announced that they’ll be a part of the NPSL for the 2017 season. Our own Kyle Eliason has the backstory, complete with info about a couple other Minnesota teams making the jump.
It’s draft season in MLS
Sounds like Minnesota United is not expected to be active in Major League Soccer's waiver and re-entry draft processes in next couple days.

Minnesota United is awash in drafts at the moment, and no, we’re not talking about sub-zero air seeping through the windows. The Loons took part in an expansion draft on Tuesday and now look forward to the waiver and re-entry draft. So far, so good it seems!

First, the good news. Pedro Heizer reports that the Fort Lauderdale Strikers have new ownership and were to begin talks with players on 12/14. The bad news? What was left of the NASL continues to fall apart, with reports that Jacksonville Armada have terminated all player contracts.
