Minnesota United FC looks to have the second easiest schedule in 2017
MLSsoccer.com analyzed team schedules based on home and away records from 2016 and rated the Loons schedule the second easiest. Looking at Minnesota’s schedule, it’s easy to see why: three games against 2016 bottom dwellers Houston Dynamo and middle of the pack Kansas City FC, a home game against the Eastern Conference’s top team New York Red Bulls, and two games against fellow expansion side Atlanta United.
Of course, parity reigns supreme in MLS, but this bodes well for Minnesota avoiding the “worst MLS team ever” title.
Minnesota United FC season ticket holders will get 18 home games
While we knew that season ticket holders would be getting the 17 MLS regular season home games in their ticket packages, ticket representatives with the team have confirmed that there will be an 18th home game included with their tickets. This will likely be used for a U.S. Open Cup home game if Minnesota is awarded one in 2017.
Also, Director of Sales Sean Sittnick confirmed that season ticket holders will be able to transfer their tickets for games they aren’t able to attend.
