Minnesota United FC gets poured on
Minnesota United FC played its second-to-last (known) preseason match today in Orlando, falling 3-0 to 2016 MLS Cup runner-up Toronto FC. What did we learn? The Loons have work to do and Sebastian Giovinco is still really good. Andy Greder has a recap for the Pioneer Press, including information on Jérôme Thiesson’s arrival.

What’s a Dark Cloud?
Here’s a cool initiative from Minnesota’s own Dark Clouds. They will be hosting a preseason academy for supporters. All are welcome to sample some Lake Monster brews, learn about the organization, and warm up those vocal cords for the 2017 season. The first session is scheduled for March 5.
