Houston are a quick team on the counter, so I can see Heath wanting to keep the Warner/Cronin combo, but he needs to find a way to connect the midfield better to the attack. Whether that’s the fullbacks or a deeper #10, I don’t know.

Like in 2016, the Dynamo got off to a fast start that seems unsustainable. Out of respect, I’ve got a 2-1 Houston win. Still, I can see Minnesota getting a point today.

Besides a point on the road, my biggest wish for this game is to see a player take a step up. Dunladi?

First match this season I’ve felt like we’re comfortable enough to actually not feel bad about any of the fifteen guys we send out (or, you know, fourteen or thirteen).

I think the big question is whether or not we’ll see both Cronin and Warner, or whether we’ll experiment a bit. I don’t think it’s great to have both on the field, but I suspect that on the road, Heath will keep playing that defensive set-up. At home against Colorado might be the chance to see something different.

Houston are coming off their first scoreless performance of the year, so I hope we’ve picked up some points on how to stop them.

Adrian: hey guys remember when we tried putting a center mid on the left side against Atlanta.
Squad: yeah it was terrible, we had no left side and we got destroyed
Adrian: Let’s do it again anyway

Should be 1- 1 and Houston down to 10… That was brutal

Horrible call, but we got one back with the offside call on what could’ve been a Houston goal. Replay showed he was onside.

What a bummer of an end to a frustrating first half. I don’t feel us out of it, though that is on the hope Cronin returns. Hopefully we can start creating options on the whole field now with Ibarra out there

Yep. Never turn down an away draw. We’re 0-2-1 in three away matches without Demidov, and 1-0-0 in home matches without him.

We go out with that second half eleven next week and we are beginning to ask where the Rocky MTN Cup is.

So we know that the Displinary Committee can look at a game after-the-fact and issue fines or suspensions to players for fouls not called during the game.

Does the same thing exist against the referees? Because if it doesn’t it should. “You missed this obvious penalty. All 4 of you. Sit out the next game.”
