Time for Greenspan

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds wasted no time with Joe Greenspan. The defender joined the Riverhounds on loan from Minnesota United FC earlier this week. While he hadn’t yet logged a minute for United, he put in a full 90 for the Hounds.

Lefèvre suspended after anti-Drumpf Instagram post

Montreal Impact has suspended Wandrille Lefèvre after the player posted a photo of himself posing with a gun captioned with an anti-Trump message.

The MLS Players Union filed a grievance on behalf of Lefèvre in response.

U.S. Open Cup first and second round draw

The pairings and host scenarios for the first and second round of the U.S. Open Cup were released Wednesady. The first round will be May 9 and 10 with NPSL, PDL, and local qualifying teams playing 28 matches. NASL and USL join the action in the second round the following week.
