FiftyFive. One Episode 39: Salty Tears and 20/20 Hindsight

It was a poor showing in Salt Lake City for Minnesota United. Wes, Jeff, and Alex talk about the match as well as what losing Marc Burch for the season (potentially) means for the club. They also endeavor to reimagine expansion draft decisions. In addition they talk about Minneapolis City’s Green Line Derby with Viejos Son Los Trapos and take twitter questions.

Great discussion guys! Thank you. Appreciate the talk on the travel roster and the cost of bringing extra players. Always interesting to hear about the behind the scenes stuff!
I haven’t been to the stadium in Philly in a few years. Has there been any development around the park in Chester? How are the Sons of Ben?

There’s been development by the team. Their training facility. I think there’s plans for something else, but no surprise, the waterfront is still struggling.

The Sons of Ben are disappointing, I think. Hard to get behind such an unexciting team. The stadium design lets them down I think. They’re not tremendously loud in the stadium.
