Minnesota United win in Orlando
Adrian Heath returned to Orlando in style, winning 2-1 over the Lions. The game had everything: good attacking from the Loons, an equalizer via penalty for Orlando, a penalty shout-turned-dive-call, and a goal-line clearance after Ethan Finlay completed his brace.
Kyle Eliason at Pro Soccer USA also had 3 thoughts about the game and what it meant for the Loons. Eliason points to offensive quality for the Loons, as well as a few points of concern.
Matthew Doyle reviews week two
The Armchair Analyst series returns, with thoughts on the Loons and the league as a whole. Doyle ponders LAFC’s first two weeks, as well as Sporting Kansas City’s confusing season to date.
Perhaps the most interesting part of Doyle’s thoughts come at the beginning, where he highlights the multitude of super draft picks who have made an impact already this season. This could lend some hope to MNUFC fans worried about the lack of big-money signings for Minnesota.
