MLS Clubs compete for youth players

While MLS has instituted well-defined “homegrown regions” for each MLS club, there are some areas where no team has rights. In these areas, MLS clubs recruit like colleges. This is how Jaylin Lindsey came to play for Sporting KC; he chose to join SKC’s academy as his best option.

Nashville Moves forward with stadium plan

Nashville’s planning committee has recommended rezoning 10 acres for MLS’ new stadium. There are four total pieces of legislation affecting the future stadium, with a final vote possible on September 4.

MLS scoring record set to be broken
