Jon Marthaler of the Pioneer Press walks through the history of MLS branding and its idiosyncrasies on the heels of the announcement of Miami’s name. Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, or “Inter Miami” will be joining the league with the longest name and a beautiful crest.

With Playoffs Looming, Loons Lag Behind

The Loons hit a road trip with hopes of giving themselves a chance of making the playoffs. Having taken only one point in five matches so far on said trip, things look grim. With eight matches remaining in the season, head coach Adrian Heath says the Loons need five wins minimum to have a chance at the postseason. Put another way, things are not looking promising for Minnesota United.

MLS Runs Over International Break
