Minnesota United Cap Winless Streak at 60 Days
It took nearly two months, but Minnesota United FC won on Saturday over the Portland Timbres. Two goals for recent signing Romario Ibarra and a corner kick goal from Michael Boxall saw the Loons over the visitors from Portland, but the evening was far from perfect for the home side.
A red card for Fernando Bob and a yellow for Maximiano mean that the Loons will be without the midfield pair for the next game. With playoff hopes dead, the Loons have only pride to play for as the season comes to a close.
MLS in FIFA
EA Sports has released the player ratings for the newest iteration of FIFA. MLSSoccer.com has gathered the top 30 players in the game from MLS. There is one Minnesota United player in the list (Darwin Quintero) and the top rated player should surprise no one.
