Minnesotans Abroad

Youngster Mukwelle Akale was promoted to Villareal B this season, and he has had a great week. He had a goal last week and then a brace on Sunday. Akale recently signed a new contract with the team in May.

Tony Sanneh spoke on a recent podcast with Grant Wahl about his experience on the 2002 men’s team and current projects through his foundation.

Recoveries in Minnesota

Emily Peterson, a captain for the University of Minnesota, tore her ACL on March 13th last Spring. On September 20th, she returned to the squad. Equal Time Soccer sat down with Emily and others involved to get the story.

Another Minnesotan who could use a recovery is Abu Danladi. Danladi has missed nearly the entire season due to injuries. After a standout first season, his sophomore year has been a disappointment.
