After a year playing for Minnesota United FC, attacking midfielder Ben Speas has signed with Indy Eleven, according to a source.
Earlier this week, Speas had announced that he would be leaving Minnesota and now it seems he will be ending up in Indianapolis.

The midfielder came to Minnesota from Columbus Crew SC, where he had been a homegrown player. In 2016, Speas scored four goals for the Loons in 23 appearances. His spring season was hampered by injury, however, and the club’s fortunes on the pitch seemed to follow.
Speas will now move to Indianapolis on a two-year contract to play for the Eleven, who surprised the league by capturing last season’s spring title.
Indy Eleven fans will be pleased to note that FiftyFive. One has already compiled a useful collection of Ben Speas puns.
